Nature and Us.
We are natural. At the material level we
take in air, food, water and more from the natural environment
and we exhale, excrete and are active, moving about and using natural
materials. We evolved from and in the natural world. Various cultures have developed myths out of
this and ideas such as Ying and Yang have emerged.
At the intangible or non-material level we might say
that there is another give and take also going on between us and the natural
environments that we are present in. What might we discover about this? What might be the flow of influences, effects and responses in this mutual relationship with nature?
We'll explore this theme with some small group
discussion then move into some exploration in action together. We
can range as widely as people feel moved to do.
Time and Place: PIM, 155 Langridge Street, Collingwood, gather at 6 p.m for 6.30 p.m start. Concludes 8.30 p.m. Light supper included.
