With the fires still raging in Victoria, Australia, Bob Cummings and Linda Harrington are part of the crew working to contain them. We wish them a safe and Happy Christmas. Here is a picture of Bob.
This year our highpoint was the International Morenian Psychodrama Conference. In 2007 we are bringing the Theatre of Spontaneity into existence making it available every last Friday evening of the month beginning in February. See it on our website:

PIM Brochure and Flyers Mailout
Monday 11 December 2006
It was fun. Our meeting was scheduled from 10.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m. It began at 10.30 a.m precisely. At 10.35 a.m we took a break with coffee, tea and croissants and donuts. Someone locked her keys in her car and missed meeting with someone else so it was wonderful that she (and the other, arriving separately) made it in time for this break.
It was Marie Watt's first meeting since she has recently joined the MPS CCC. It wasn't Simon Parker's first meeting, since he met with the Faculty several weeks ago but he is new on the Faculty, starting in 2007. Our other new members of CCC are Patricia Green and Nikki Alderman. This makes 8 members on the CCC: Helen Fryer, Sue Daniel, Gillian Blackwell, Marie Watt, Patricia Green and Nikki Alderman (Australia) and Katrina Gaskin and Lethe Gaskin (New Zealand). Nikki arrived in a flurry and generously massaged a few shoulders before settling down to fold flyers and stuff envelopes with the rest of us. We finished on the dot of 12.30 p.m - must have been the good ol' mutual tele operating between us.
The next meeting of the CCC is in February, 16th at Helen's house at 7 p.m. We will be preparing for the Spring Gathering which will happen on Sunday, 3 March at PIM from 2 - 5 p.m and the first Theatre of Spontaneity on Friday, February 23, at PIM from 7.30 - 10.30 p.m.
I know it is very early in the piece to make Gathering announcements for 2007, but do put this date (Autumn Meeting, SUNDAY, 4 MARCH 2007 from 2 - 5 p.m) in your diary. Our three other dates for 2007 are: Sundays, 3 June (Winter Meeting), 26 August (slightly early Spring Meeting); with the final (Summer) one being a Christmas Party on 2 December 2007. Our known focus next year is on the hosting of the monthly Theatre of Spontaneity events, how and whether to affiliate with PACFA and publication of writings of members, trainees and practitioners.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Your Endless Spark
I believe that, deep within you,
There lives an endless spark,
The centre of your being.
And this spark burns brightly,
However hidden it may seem
Or beyond reach it may feel
It is there!
My hope, my dream is for you to listen quietly,
To listen for the inner voice,
Which longs, yearns, even aches to speak.
Its message is your inner truth.
If you take the time to sit quietly,
To go within,
Open your innermost self and listen,
You will hear this voice.
It will speak to you – a word will form.
In the quietness of your inner self,
Listen to this word, hold it,
Cradle it like a newborn babe
In depths of your very being.
And, this word is the first of many
That will come to you,
That will begin to flow
Into a river of feelings and of knowings.
This river is the poem of your true self,
It is the song of your soul.
Indeed, your soul has many poems,
Many songs, and
Each has a message for you.
It is time to listen
To your inner voice,
To your poem, and
To sing your song,
For your Endless Spark
Is speaking to you.

Tribute to Joyce Williams, Psychodramatist.
Vale
Joyce was an angel unceremoniously dumped to earth; the jarring nature of this entry into our world enabled a unique human spirit to be born. This spirit was especially sensitive to other souls and had the ability to hear and be moved by their music.
My image of Joyce is one of a lovely bird. This image has been especially strong over these past few days of her passing. In my mind's eye, I see her as a little bird with inquisitive, sharp, bright, brown eyes, warm feathered body, hopping about or looking at the world from her nest. In the past I've also seen her as a wise and trustworthy bird, and also, as a bald headed eagle........cranky as!
I first met Joyce in 1977 at the beginning of my psychodrama journey, she gave me her long 70's pink and white silky scarf with tassels, as I celebrated my birthday during our workshop. I adore her, she has been immensely kind to me and I am glad to have been here with her.Sue Daniel - 15 November 2006

Psychodrama on the Web
So, the process is the same, but different..........you've written something that you want to share with members of the Moreno Psychodrama Society - send the document by email to: theo@netspace.net.au and I'll paste it up here into this virtual Newsletter. The difference is that once it's posted here it can be read and enjoyed by all whenever they like and wherever they are. You might be travelling and in an internet cafe in Uzbekistan - send us some words of your travels, maybe even include that photo of the Yak. Readers can give immediate feedback, and all the writings will be archived for posterity.
Send me writings on Psychodrama, Sociodrama, tap dancing or how the dogs in the neighbourhood are dealing with daylight saving. Send me links to your Web pages or Web Sites you'd like other to know about.....you get my drift.
So here it is, who will be the first to get out of the waiting room?
